Yarmouth Senior Driver Crashes Car Into Building

An elderly driver suffered personal injuries on Tuesday when she crashed her SUV into a doctor’s office in Yarmouth. The driver was driving down Ansel Hallet Road when she lost control of her Toyota RAV4 and crashed into the building. Her red SUV drove up onto a front porch and slammed into a wall near a plastic surgeon’s waiting room.

Wareham Head-On Collision Injures One

One man was hospitalized on Tuesday due to serious injuries he sustained in a head-on collision on Interstate 195. 47-year-old Robert Cavanaugh was seriously injured after a Dodge Stratus driven by 25-year-old Alcidia Pereira drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into Cavanaugh’s Pontiac Grand Am.

92-Year-Old Milford Woman Dies in Car Accident

A Milford resident died on Monday as a result of injuries she sustained in a car accident earlier that day. 92-year-old Elvira Puntonio was fatally injured when the car she was riding in rear-ended another vehicle.

Swansea Teen Seriously Injured After Being Struck by Car, Then Run Over By School Bus

A teenage boy suffered serious personal injuries on Tuesday when he was hit by a car and run over by a bus while riding a bicycle. 15-year-old Justin Charron was riding his bike on Hinsdale Avenue when the serious of terrible accidents occurred.

Teen Charged in Fatal Norwell Car Accident

Police say the driver who crashed his Chrysler Pacifica on Sunday night, killing his passenger, was driving under the influence of alcohol. 18-year-old William Ecclestone was charged with motor vehicle homicide and drunk driving in the death of Ryan O’Donnell.

Investigators Find Negligence in Fatal Boston Fire Truck Crash

Investigators have released their initial findings in the case of a fatal crash in 2009 that killed a firefighter. Boston firefighter Kevin Kelley died after the brakes failed on his fire truck, which caused the truck to crash into a building at the bottom of a hill. The fatal fire truck accident occurred on January 9, 2009.

Six Injured in Lynn Head-On Collision

Six people, including several small children, were injured on Sunday night in a head-on collision on Holyoke Street. Iris Riveria was driving a Hyundai Elantra when she drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed into an Acura driven by Revere resident Samantha Carrabino. The car accident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Waltham Five-Car Accident Sends Three to Local Hospitals

Five cars were involved in a serious multi-car pileup in Waltham on Saturday. 51-year-old Michael Gallant lost control of his Toyota Camry on Route 128. After impacting a guardrail and coming to a stop on the freeway, several vehicles crashed into Gallant’s vehicle and each other.

Drunk Driver Sentenced to Prison for Fatal DUI Crash That Killed Nurse

A drunk driver who killed a 25-year-old nurse in a car accident last year received his sentence on Thursday. 36-year-old Norman Pelletier was sentenced to 8 to 10 years in prison for the death of Amanda Parsons.

Driver in Near-Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Gloucester Was Texting

Police have concluded their investigation into a serious pedestrian accident that almost took the life of a Gloucester woman last month. Police have determined that the driver who caused the accident, 27-year-old Hillary Mitchell, was texting on her cell phone when she hit the victim, Jerry Favaloro.
