March 8, 2010 - Northbridge - A Whitinsville resident died Thursday night when his car crashed into a tree. According to reports in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, 26-year-old Neal Adams was driving a Chevy Lumina on Hill Street when he lost control of the car and drove into a tree on the side of the road.
The single-vehicle car accident occurred shortly before midnight, and Neal Adams was the sole occupant of the Chevy. First responders attempted to stabilize the victim at the scene, but unfortunately his injuries were too severe and he died at the scene of the car accident. The car was badly damaged in the crash.
Police are still investigating what caused Adams to lose control of his car, and their initial findings are expected to become available sometime this week. A reconstruction team from the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council is assisting the Northbridge Police in determining the cause of the fatal car accident.
