Senior Driver Crashes SUV into Utility Pole in Taunton

February 5, 2010 - Taunton - A male driver was seriously injured last Sunday morning after he lost control of his SUV and struck a utility pole.

According to reports in the Taunton Gazette, 67-year-old Roger LeClerk was driving a Ford Escape SUV near the Home Plate Bay Street Grill around 11: 15 a.m. when he struck a utility pole. Police believe a medical condition may have caused LeClerk to lose consciousness at the wheel, causing his SUV to veer into traffic and evenutally crash. Thankfully no other damage or injuries were reported in connection to the car accident.

LeClerk was then transported to Morton Hospital and Medical Center for treatment. We wish Roger LeClerk a quick and complete recovery from his injuries.
